Ryhurst’s Healthcare Maintenance team in Bedford spent time away from their busy scheduled to help provide a much needed lick of pain to the Twinwoods Health Resource Centre in Bedford with NHS staff.
As part of the Trust’s ‘Give Back Day’ initiative, our team including Rabia Asad, Maintenance Operative; John Mitchell, Engineer; and Ben Watton, Contract Manager with staff from the East London NHS Trust spent the day refurbishing the entrance and communal gardens at the Twinwoods facility.
Together they cleared the flaking paint from the railings and gates in the garden area and repainted them with a fresh coat of pain. In the main entrance a number of new notice and leaflet holders were secured to the wall, all helping to make a warmer welcome for people using and visiting the facility.
Ben Watton, Contract Manager, said: “Give Back Day is a great example of working in partnership with the Trust to ensure the buildings we all work with are welcoming to everyone who uses them. It was great to see how much we achieved together in the day and everyone has commented on how much brighter it all looks”.
